Our Story

Vision Source of Hays proudly opened its doors in August 2022, continuing a tradition of trusted eye care in the Hays community following the retirement of Dr. Kendall Krug. Led by Dr. Mark Wahlmeier, our practice combines decades of clinical experience with modern technology to provide exceptional vision and eye health services for patients of all ages.

Dr. Wahlmeier brings more than 25 years of optometric experience to the practice, including 22 years serving patients in Western Kansas. Since joining the Hays community, he has remained committed to delivering personalized care while building lasting relationships with both longtime and new patients.
